How You Can Help:
- Front of House: Share your knowledge and enthusiasm by welcoming visitors to our museum, providing tourist information, and answering questions.
- School Workshops: Work with local schools, delivering engaging and interactive educational sessions that align with the curriculum and spark students’ curiosity.
- Reminiscence Therapy: Help older people access the collection, spark memories and build meaningful connections with fun and engaging sessions in care homes and memory cafes.
- Events: Assist in researching and leading family events, guided walks, and illustrated talks that cater to diverse interests within the community.
- Collections Care: Help preserve our artefacts by assisting with cataloguing, cleaning, and maintaining the museum’s collection (dependant on experience).
- Maintenance: Keep the museum running by carrying out basic maintenance and odd jobs.
